Johan is 43 years old and comes from the west coast of Sweden (Gothenburg), where he lives with his wife and two daughters, alongside the family, his greatest interest is flytying and flyfishing.
He tied his first artificial flie when he was about 10 years old, in recent years tying flies has been a daily commitment, he doesn't spend a day without tying a couple of flies.
Johan ties more or less all types of flies and the favorites mutch depending on the season, he loves to mix the old assembly scheme and tie with new materials and create new types of flies that are able to do their job during the fishing days. If he had to choose, then he would say that all artificial flies and variants of ephemeral, emergneti, adult and spent mayfly's is his favorties.
His favorite fishes are many, so he follows the seasons of the year and try to concentrate on the species of fish present. If he had to choose then dryfly fishing for all the species of trout, char and grayling is his favorite.
Considering his remarkable experience in Fly Fishing and Fly Tying, we considered it appropriate to involve him in the Pro Staff of GVS Realistic Fly Tying.
